SCA Meeting Minutes, January 2016

- Welcome and Introductions: Pat reads the values; Lindareads mission; Gary reads Vision
- November & December meeting minutes were approved: Joanna moved, Drew seconded
- Treasurer Update
- General account: $2607.76 as of Dec 31.
- Floats the idea of online-only ads that are cheaper than the print ads.
- Moved by Kathy; Seconded by Drew.
- Up to $50 for Joanna for hot chocolate, etc, for Family Day Skating Rink launch. Moved by Eleni, Linda second.
- Beautiful Alleys
- Brenda Duke messaged Lee re: Beautiful Alleys. Another cleanup coming in April. Lee will sign people up; Interested parties are encouraged to join their Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/beautifulalleys
- Songs from the Bishop
- Adam wants to run it again in 2016.
- Tool Library has a good PA system.
- Lee, Eleni, & Adam will form a mini-committee & come back with a funding request
- Ice Rink
- Mike is our “park captain” again
- Drafted a letter to Cllr Farr for boards for Carter Park; Sent to Farr, ran by his assisstant
- We have to produce a receipt for the product before we can get funding
- Bruce moves; Drew seconds
- The Anvil
- Tim Buttons recommends we advertise in The Anvil
- Rec Centre & Parkette design preview
- Kathy presents rec centre design.
