Greetings Stinson and Corktown Residents and Dog Park lovers!
The Corktown Neighbourhood Association and Stinson Community Association are pleased to be collaborating to find a name for the new Dog Park that is nestled between our beloved neighbourhoods and along the rail trail. We have developed a brief survey to gather residents’ ideas about a name for the park. We are also welcoming suggestions about park amenities for consideration. While we cannot guarantee that any and all amenities recommended will be implemented, we appreciate your thoughts and ideas about the park that we can share with Councillor Jason Farr.
Additionally, we are seeking a small group of residents to work together to form a shortlist of names gathered from the survey and to present the shortlist to residents which will be held to a final vote. Please contact us using the email addresses below to let us know if you are interested to volunteer for this task. Within one week after the survey closes, we will connect with the volunteer group to share with them next steps.
