Hello Ward 2!
We have had an outstanding response so far for PlanLocal Ward 2 Safe Streets. The most popular eligible ideas will go to a vote at the end of June, when you and your neighbours will decide how to spend $1 million to make your streets safer.
Can you still submit ideas? Yes! PlanLocal’s Identification phase is open until Monday, May 16th and you can submit online or in person.
PlanLocal is your opportunity to specify safe street hot spots in your neighbourhood. Identify the locations where you think a physical improvement could make the street safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. Just go online or to a location near you and submit your idea. You can submit as many ideas as you’d like!
Please submit online at http://planlocal.ca/ward2/identify/
When submitting online, you are able to pinpoint your exact location on the map and give your solution. You can also upload a photo of the location, the problem or the solution. If you’d like more information, our website has details about the process, ground rules, and some suggested ideas for safe street solutions.
You can also submit in person at locations in your neighbourhood. Submission boxes are available at the following locations: |
