The Hamilton Community Land Trust (HCLT) invites you to attend our public launch on April 2, 2014 in the King George Room at LiUNA Station.
Doors will open at 7pm and refreshments will be provided. There will be a short presentation exploring our vision for a community land trust in Hamilton, including some potential projects that are in the planning stage. Following the presentation there will be a facilitated small-group discussion – be ready to share your thoughts on community development and underused land in downtown Hamilton!
The event is free, but please RSVP to [email protected] to confirm your attendance as space is limited. Please feel free to circulate widely among your networks.
About HCLT
We see Hamilton turning a corner, led by the dynamism, diversity and density of its downtown. We want to ensure that Hamilton’s transformation is sustainable and inclusive, giving downtown communities a role in decision-making as abandoned, underused, or contaminated lands are re-purposed.
Our mission is to sustainably steward land and facilitate its renewed use by the communities living, working and playing in downtown Hamilton.
