The City of Hamilton is seeking Artists or Artist-Led Teams to submit proposals to design and paint a Public Art mural to be installed in Carter Park in the historic Stinson Neighbourhood in central Hamilton
Artists will be selected by a citizen Jury through a process involving a concept and design
proposal followed by public consultation on selected Artist’s proposals.
Award: $17,000
Submission Deadline: Friday March 7, 2014 at 3:00 PM (Hamilton time)
Artist Information Meeting:
Wednesday February 5th, 2014. 4:30-5:30 PM
Central Memorial Recreation Centre 93 West Avenue South (at Stinson) Hamilton Ontario.
Artists are invited to visit the site and view a presentation on the adjudication process and
submission requirements.
This is not a mandatory meeting.
