It is our pleasure to announce that Joanna Millions has been acclaimed President of the SCA for the remainder of the 2014 term. We look forward to working together with Joanna as your executive board.
Draft meeting minutes will be distributed shortly, however here are some highlights from last night’s SCA General Meeting:
- Joanna Millions acclaimed President
- Mike Montreuil will take the lead on the creation of a 2014 ‘Carter Park Skating Rink’
- Looking for additional volunteers to assist with skating rink flooding and maintenance
- Katherine Dymkowski will take the lead on the ‘Easter Egg Hunt’ event
- Looking for additional volunteers to assist with park cleanup and setup
- Devon Mordell has formed a working committee on the community research initiative
- A newsletter committee has been formed with great interest from members in attendance on participation
- Andrew Downes will be applying with Diane G. for the neighbourhood leadership institute initiative
