At the SCA meeting on December 12, 2013, the following announcement was made on behalf of Brenda M., who was acclaimed as President for the year 2014, at the October 2013, SCA meeting.
“Due to circumstances beyond my control I have chosen not to go forward as President in 2014. I look forward to volunteering as a resident and member of the SCA.”
Given Brenda’s need to withdraw, an election for the position of President will be held at the January 9, 2014, meeting. Meeting start time 7pm @ Central Memorial Recreation Centre.
To be eligible to stand for the position, you must have been an active Member in good standing for at least one year, with your membership dues fully paid up and having attending at least 50% of the scheduled SCA meeting during the previous 12 months.
