Dear Neighbourhood Planning Teams and Associations
It is my pleasure to invite you to the Neighbourhood Action Strategy’s annual update to Council on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, beginning at 9:30am, at the General Issues Committee of Council meeting (City Hall, Council Chambers). As part of this update, we will be presenting a brief overview of the many successes that have been achieved to date, which could not have been accomplished if it were not for the vision, dedication and hard work of the residents within the neighbourhoods themselves.
Over the past year, 8 of the 11 NAS neighbourhoods had residents present their Neighbourhood Action Plans to General Issues Committee for endorsement and it has been wonderful to see so many residents in the audience, supporting the plans that they created. It is our hope that this meeting, which is a celebration of all the neighbourhoods and supporting partners, is one that you are able to attend. I hope to see you there.
